The essentials: if you have supplied us with an email address, we keep it, and if you have made a purchase we retain your order details. We never sell data to anyone.

What we collect

If you only browse: our hosting provider keeps routine server logs. When adverts are active, a tracking pixel may note your visit so that we do not pay to display the same promotion to a customer who has already ordered the book.

If you request the sample or sign up to the mailing list: we take your email address and nothing else.

If you place an order: we record your name, email, payment confirmation and, for print copies, the shipping address. That address goes to the printer so the book can be sent to you.

Your full card details never reach us. Those are handled entirely by the payment processor.

Who else handles your data

Our checkout and payment provider, our print-on-demand supplier for physical orders only, our email service and our web host. Each receives the minimum information required to perform their role, and no more.

Retention periods

Order records are kept for as long as required by tax regulations. Email addresses remain until you opt out of the list, at which point they are erased rather than merely blocked.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request a copy of the information we store about you, ask for corrections, or ask for its removal. Contact us by email and we will respond within a month, normally within a day.

Cookies

Our site does not place any of its own. If advertising is live, the advertising pixel installs one and your consent will be sought before it activates.
